• RA Bernd Wittemöller

  Chairman of Supervisory Board

  Bernd Wittemöller has for 30 years been a practising lawyer, primarily in German commercial law and company law. His professional activities have included extensive work in the areas of compliance and capital markets, and he brings many years of experience in company restructurings as well. In addition, he has since 1991 been registered as a notary public in the city of Lübbecke. He completed his studies in business and law at the Universities of Bochum, Münster and Göttingen.
  

  Mr. Wittemöller, a member of the Supervisory Board since August 2007, has served as its chairman since June 2008.

• Prof. Dr. Peter Gomber

  Deputy Chairman of Supervisory Board

  Professor Peter Gomber holds the chair of e-Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University of Frankfurt. He is, in addition, co-chair and member of the board of the E-Finance Lab, a cooperation between the Universities of Frankfurt and Darmstadt and a network of industry partners from financial services. In the E-Finance Lab, he manages the research layer "Electronic Financial Markets and Market Infrastructures". He has published numerous articles in international journals and has been awarded the Reuters Innovation Award in 2000, the University Award of Deutsches Aktieninstitut (DAI) in 1999, the IBM SUR Grant in 2007 and several best paper awards at international research conferences.
  

  Before assuming his professorship at the University of Frankfurt, Dr. Gomber worked as Director and Head of Market Development Cash Market in the Trading & Clearing Services Division of Deutsche Börse AG. He has been a member of the Exchange Council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE) since 2011 and is also a member of the Academic Committee of the Deutsches Aktieninstitut (DAI).
  

  Professor Gomber has served as deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board since June 2008.

• Guido M. Sollors

  Member of Supervisory Board

  Guido Sollors is managing partner of Sollors GmbH & Co. KG and of Sollors Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. These companies, both based in Hamburg, advise companies and their owners on strategic and financial issues as well as in special situations. In addition, the companies have, together with co investors, a growing portfolio of investment positions in German small- to mid-sized ("Mittelstand") companies. Before founding his own investment and advisory firm, he was a managing partner at a German private bank, prior to which he held a number of management positions at a global German banking group.
  

  Mr. Sollors has been a member of the Supervisory Board since November 2009.

• Paul Gabuzda

  Member of Advisory Board

  Paul Gabuzda brings a broad range of international experience in banking, finance and capital markets to his activities at b-next. Following almost 13 years as a vice president of corporate banking with one of the world's largest banks, he became a freelance professional, serving clients primarily within the financial sector. Mr. Gabuzda holds degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of California Los Angeles. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute.
  

  Mr. Gabuzda has been member of the Advisory Board since November 2009, having previously served as member of the Supervisory Board starting in August 2007.
